Description
Littlemill is one of those glorious old whisky distilleries of yester-year. It seems like it was the first ever distillery to get a licence, all the way back in 1773 under the reign of King George III. Some people even think that illegal distilling may have been happening as far back as the 14th century! Unfortunately we don?t have any 14th century whisky to show off, but we do have this Littlemill 21 Years Old Hart Brothers Finest Collection 1990. Since the distillery closed down in the 1990s, and the remaining mothballed buildings burnt down in 2004, it?s not likely we?ll see any new Littlemill. The good news is there is some remaining stock now lovingly cared for by Loch Lomond. This drop comes from the very end of Littlemill?s life and was bottled up by Hart Brothers at the ripe age of 21.
